We can gladly say that TechConnect - The Middle East’s First Ever Tech entrepreneurial Meetup which was organized by Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship and sponsored by Jeeran was a great success.

TechConnect is designed to bring together entrepreneurs, leaders in the technology industry, and those with a demonstrable interest in technology based entrepreneurship in an informal setting. TechConnect aims promote dialogue, interchange and the exchange of ideas to further enable and create a culture of technology-based entrepreneurship in Jordan. [1]

The event took place at the Princess Sumaya Institute of Technology in Amman, October 31^st, 2007 and was attended by many old and new startups and prominent figures from our industry.
The attendees filled up the event quickly when it began at 5:30 PM, met each other and had very interesting conversations.

Many students from PSUT had also attended the event to see how successful Jeeran has become over time and how they should use Jeeran as an example for them to go ahead and start with their own Business.

Omar (Cofounder and President) and Laith (Cofounder and Director of innovation) gave a brief word about Jeeran and announced its collaboration with ATH and its partenership agreement with Talasim, Which impressed most of the attendees.

Later on in the evening HRH Princess Sumaya surprised everyone by coming to the event without prior notice and she mingled with the guests. She had a nice conversation with Omar and a group of the guests as well.

The event finished around 8:00 PM and it was agreed by all the attendees that it was a great success!
